Classic Mittens

There is a free pattern on Ravelry, Classic Mittens No. 615. You can make mittens for all family members with this one pattern. You have a choice of using double pointed needles or two needles.

It is a quick easy pattern.  I, of course, always make some modifications to the patterns.  That’s just me.  I can’t leave well enough alone, LOL!

Here are pics of what I have done so far.

  1. I love these! I’ve started my winter knitting too. I have a basket full of slippers, socks, and currently I am working on a pair of simple stockingette fingerless gloves. I’m going to fill up the basket and then start deciding who gets what. Parting with it will be some kind of sweet sorrow – I get a little possessive with the things I’ve made and this needs to STOP before I become a hoarder! heh

    • I usually start earlier than I have, but I seem to be cranking them out quickly. I know what you mean about not wanting to gift things I’ve made, but I can’t keep them all.

  2. Keeping my hands busy and at the same time adding to my Christmas gift stash. Sure makes it easy to give Christmas gifts when you have a bunch of stuff already made. 🙂
