Airplanes and Lighthouses

Monday, hubby and I took a trip to the Naval Aviation Museum and the Pensacola Lighthouse.  I took a lot of pictures and thought I would share a few with you.

Crocheting Potholders for Christmas

Yes, I know it’s only April, but I like to get a head start on Christmas gifts.  I so hate being rushed during the holiday season. 

I plan on giving the CNAs I work with potholders for Christmas gifts this year and I plan on making a few extra just in case. 

I keep using my old standby  pattern, which the how-to was posted earlier and can be found on this blog under the category “Crochet”.    I just add flowers and such to each of them to make them unique.

The chicken potholder I will keep for myself.  I may make some more, but I haven’t decided yet.

Went to Another Zoo

We went to another nearby zoo.  Took about an hour and 10 minutes to get there.  It’s much smaller than the first zoo that is near us, but has some interesting exhibits.  Here are a few pictures:
