I’m Having Withdrawal Symptoms!

My oldest son has borrowed my camera for his firefighting class.  He has to take pics of buildings/structures that can pose different problems for firefighters.   I hope he gets his project done quickly, because I’ll be chewing my fingers down to the knuckles until I get my camera back.

6 Quirky, But Boring Things About Me

I’ve been tagged by Sue http://perpetualplum.wordpress.com/ to tell 6 quirky, but boring things about myself and then I have to tag 6 more folks.  Hmmm….this should be interesting err…boring.

1.  I’m afraid of roaches, yet I have 4 pet snakes.

2.  I love going on cruises, love looking at the sea, but I won’t, absolutely won’t set one toe in the water.  Too many “things” in that water.

3. I collect stamps.  Just the ones that appeal to me.  No special significance or type.

4. I love crafting & will delve into a new hobby whole heartedly until I get bored with it.  Then I move on to something else.

5.  I really hate bright sunny days and hot weather, but I live in the Sunshine state. Go figure.

6.  I love working with yarn and probably have more than I will ever use in 3 lifetimes.  Make that 4 lifetimes.

My Son, the Joker

My youngest son went out on Halloween with friends as the Joker.  He did his own make up, which I think was very good.  Must be his art background.  He received many compliments on how well he did. 

 

He’s wearing a wig, purple coat, gold tie and purple gloves.
