Still Cleaning! And Getting Ready for the Fair!
Still cleaning my craft room. Got two bags full of junk that I tossed. Don’t know why I save some of this stuff.
Also getting my entries ready for our local fair…2 craft items, a knitted purse and a polymer clay rose, and 4 photos. Don’t know if I’ll win a ribbon, but it’s fun entering and being part of the competition.
Cleaning…YUK!
Well I have really got to get down and dirty. Over the years I have collected “stuff” and the “stuff” is taking over the house. It’s time I got serious about getting rid of some of this “stuff”.
Most of it is my craft supplies, some of which I have never used. I think I will have to start on one room and work from there. Yes, it’s all over the house, not just in one room. I would love to have it all in one room. That is my goal.
First will be my computer room which has fabric, yarn, books, soap, polymer clay, cross stitch, knitting needles, crochet hooks, etc. Time to go through all of that and get rid of the majority of it. I thought about selling some of it, but that takes too long. When the urge hits me to clean up my “stuff” I want it gone NOW.
I’ll be donating some to the Goodwill and other local places around town. I hope to have my house look like my house again.
Wish me luck!
Our New Addition, Actually, My Son’s
We recently acquired a new member of the family. Recently….meaning yesterday. He is tiny, adorable, demanding, vocal, curious, brave, playful and captivating as all kittens should be. He was given to us by a friend who is trying to find homes for a total of 11 kittens. Now only 10. I don’t think she will have much of a problem as they are all really cute.
